Château of Bourdeilles

Two castles of different periods

Former barony of the Perigord, the château of Bourdeilles presents two castles built on a fortified bank : a medieval fortress and its high keep built between the 13th and 14th centuries, and a Renaissance palace with finely decorated rooms. The furniture collection is outstanding : hundreds of artworks from the 15th to the 19th century.

Dates and opening hours

From 10 of february to 31 of march : Open everyday except on monday (during french holidays : open everyday),10AM – 12AM and 2PM – 5.30PM.

From 1st of april to 6 of july : Everyday, 10AM-1PM and 2PM – 6PM.

From 7 of july to 2nd of september : 10AM-7.30PM

From 3rd of september to 4 of november : Everyday, 10AM-1PM and 2PM – 6PM.

From 5th of november to 31th of december : Open everyday except on monday (during french holidays : open everyday. Closed the 25th of december and 1st of january),10AM – 12AM and 2PM – 5PM
